Fallguy40 has been talking a lot about Exctitebike recently in the wildly popular forum (membership is limited so join now!) and I just happened to stumble across these pics (via Kotaku) of a real-world pixelated bike from Excitebike that some guy built - so I figured it was worth a quick-hit post. He posted a number of other pics showing off his project on the online magazine Vision02 that you can check out here. He also fabricated the helmet and gear of the little rider dude too.

And I thought I had too much time on my hands building Little Big Planet levels.
Although, my latest, "The Sack of Monte Cristo," promises to be something pretty special.
One of my favorite novels and also my favorite fried sandwich - how can you go wrong? I'm gonna have to buy LBP just so I can keep up with your rapidly growing library of indie games.
I've got to start over on Monte Cristo. I accidently screwed up the whole level. I had kind of boxed myself into a corner on it anyway with some poor planning.
I tried Space Taxi. Even built the taxi but I wasn't sure how to overcome the camera perspective. Space Taxi requires you to be able to see the whole screen at once but the LBP camera perspective is way too tight to make it work very well. Maybe in LBP2 it will work.
Why do they call that sandwich the Monte Cristo anyway? Does it seek it's revenge on your stomach?
I have no idea why it's called that. But I had the best one ever in Marshall, Texas in a little place called the Hungry Potter that is now closed. Did you know they made a sequel to Space Taxi a few years back? I almost downloaded it but never did. Maybe I will go back and DL it since the subject is being bounced around.
